An all-new Chevrolet Captiva was released as 2021 model year. The Captiva name comes back into the GCC market after a 4 year absence as a Chinese-built 7-seater compact SUV. Under the hood is a 1.4-turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, mated to a CVT. Standard features on the front-wheel-drive Captiva LS include power steering, power windows, electric mirrors, fabric seats, cruise control, 8-inch touch screen for the infotainment system, four speakers, halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, reverse camera, multi-function steering wheel and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Captiva LT gets additional keyless entry, push start engine, 6 speakers, sunroof and automatic climate control. The top Captiva Premier gets more options such as 17-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 7-inch multi-function dashboard, electric parking brake, front parking sensors and power-folding mirrors. Standard safety features include front driver and passenger airbags, stability control, tyre pressure monitor, EBD and ABS.
